Kentucky men’s tennis starts way to public title with home first round

No. 5 Kentucky men’s tennis was chosen as a host site for the first and second adjusts of the 2024 NCAA Competition from May 3-4.

Kentucky’s most memorable matchup will be on Friday at 4 p.m. ET against DePaul, with the victor progressing to the round of 32 and playing the champ of Toledo and Illinois.

The Wildcats are hot off their SEC customary season and competition titles on a 17-match series of wins, making them the weighty number one in their nearby section.

Driven by No. 4 copies pair Josh Lapadat and JJ Mercer, Kentucky has dropped the duplicates point in only one of its last ten matches.

DePaul (14-9) is on a five-match series of wins subsequent to taking the Enormous East Competition title. Kentucky last played DePaul in the initial round of the 2022 Competition, finishing its season with a 4-0 triumph.

Super Regionals from May 10-11 could see Kentucky in a rematch with No. 12 Harvard, which the Wildcats beat 5-2 from the get-go in the season.

The way to the public title starts May 3-4 at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex for the last home matches of the time.
